Just had worst bar service I've ever had. Sat a bar for a few beers and a pizza. During 1 1/2 - 2 hours there was asked one time if I needed anything. I had to ask for service. Barmaids, one in particular, spent more time talking to customers than working the bar. I understand that bar staff has to talk to customers but they don't have to be over extended at the sake of other customers. Very disappointed. Did not leave a tip.

Some of the best pizza I've ever had. Extensive menu and I can say with confidence that I've never had a bad meal here. This is a place that my family and I adore. Staff is super friendly and it's also a great option for games and date night at the bar. I love Ladd's...thankful we have such a great place close by. It's due for some updating which is why I can't give 5 stars, but otherwise...a great place.

We recently ate at Ladd's and enjoyed our meal immensely. Salad ingredients were fresh as was the side vegetables. The salmon and haddock were nicely broiled and flavorful. We do-not make trips to this side of Rutland often but we will have to make a point of visiting Ladd's more often.

I love there service and food as well, quit and cozy place, friendly staff, not much waiting.

Top notch bar service

My husband took me here for our very first date 7 years ago. It was his favorite place. A couple years ago service went down hill so we stopped going. When the anniversary of our first date came up we decided to give them another chance. We were not disappointed. We were treated very well and were greeted imediately when we walked in "hi there! Someone will be right with you". Much better than being ignored a few years ago. The food was as good as ever and the drinks were good. I'm glad we decided to give them another chance.

Very slow service. Food is not that great. Dark dingy atmosphere. Great place if you want to join the dining dead.

Try the seafood combo. Not your typical butter and cracker slop. Fresh and well portioned.

Great place! Good food reasonably priced

I lived in Rutland growing up. Haven't been back in years ever since I got married and moved. Decided to meet up with a friend I haven't seen in a while. My wife and i brought my 15 month old daughter who is normally very good in restaurant settings. We were greeted at the door and the women seating us didnt acknowledge for us to follow her after we told her our party size. She proceeded to give us a hand gesture to come sit so we did. Greated by our waiter and placed a few app orders as well as our food orders. Pizza was very good when it came out. Asked waiter to expedite my daughters chicken tender orders as she was starting to get a bit restless. Long story short, my wife ended up having to leave the restaurant to put our daughter to bed after having waited just under 2 hours until our food arrived. Food was good, but wait was far too long.

first off we ordered an appetizer that never even came. we waited for our food for 1 hour and 10 minutes. the steaks were cold and the pasta was gross. it’s not even worth coming here honestly. we waited 25 minutes just to get a waiter and we also had about 5 different people serving us, could they not just give us one and make us happy?

Visiting family from the Boston area, and ordered some to-go pizza's. The pizzas were delicious. The place was packed and had a great vibe of locals/regulars. Next time I visit I will definitely take the family to a sit-down dinner there.

Great waitress and varity of menu options. whether you are in the mood for Steak, Seafood or pizza, salad, appetizers or just sitting at a bar there is something for everyone. We had a very nice waitress very attentive with a good personality which made our evening very enjoyable. My husband got an unusual dish called Brazilian chicken which was served with bananas, oranges and pineapple and he said it was very tasty and came with two sides he chose the potato, brussel sprouts and it also came with soup or Salad. I got the gluten free pizza in which they make their own crust so it wasn't the standard Udi's Pizza that you get it so many restaurants it was very tasty and more than enough for one person to have some left over for lunch the next day. My husband had the cheesecake with fresh strawberries and a little bit of whipped cream made it extra special.

Just discovered it 2weeks ago. Been back again. Seafood platter is no joke.

Friends of ours have been telling us about this place and we finally tried it last night and wish we had tried it sooner. The service was great as was the food and very reasonably priced.

The food was delicious, but the next day had very bad stomach issues, both me and my girlfriend.

Good food at reasonable prices. Love the prime rib. Last visit the scallops wrapped in bacon on a salad hit the spot! 👍😁

My aunt and uncle have been going here for years. So tonight they invited me along. Great family restaurant the food was excellent and reasonably priced, the wait staff was awesome, we had a great time. Highly recommend if you're in the Rutland, Ma area or heading from Worcester, Ma to Barre, Ma.

Small, quiet restaurant. A favorite of the locals ( went for a Thursday dinner and a good number of booths filled). Many menu choices. Husband loved the prime rib, and he's picky! A little out of the way for tourists, but worth it when in the Wachusett area.

Wish half stars could be left. Lots of offerings. Most food is decent to pretty good. Prices are reasonable. It's sort of half and half, bar part has about 6 TVs more updated. Dining room looks like it's been years since updated/renovated

It was so amazing loved it

This is a casual family restaurant that offers a versital menu, with competitive pricing. Their food is consistent with efficent staff and minimal waiting. Reservations are recommended for a large party. It has a bar area which can accommodate a large number of people and has several high top tables, keno and sports on tv. Usually it is crowded, (loud) and fun. This is a well known popular establishment. Parking is ample and it beats waiting 45 minutes for dinner in the city... Great to support family owned & operated town businesses.

Went with a group of friends. Had the Shepherd's Pie. It was delicious. It was a Saturday night, and the place was slammed, but the atmosphere is fantastic. Very warm and inviting. Would certainly recommend.
